Role Title: Cyber Technologist Consultant
Location: Remote
Salary: Up to £70,000 dependent on experience

We are looking for a Cyber Technologist Consultant with substantial operational SOC experience as well as a more well-rounded Cyber Technology specialist. As a Cyber Technologist Consultant, you will be a key member of the tmc3 team, leveraging your expertise to enhance our security operations and deliver exceptional services to our clients.

Responsibilities
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English communication skills, ensuring clear and professional interaction with candidates, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
- SOC Operations: Monitor, detect, analyse, and respond to security incidents within the SOC, utilizing Splunk and Sentinel as the primary SIEM and SOAR tool.
- Incident Response: Execute incident response procedures, perform forensic analysis, and develop remediation plans.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations effectively.
- Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including playbooks, standard operating procedures, and incident reports.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Act as a SME in the Microsoft Technology Stack for both tmc3 and clients.
- Provide adhoc technical cyber support to both colleagues and clients in technical solutions and services.
- Staying up to date on emerging threats and how it impacts tmc3 and our clients.
- Design and Operate managed service offerings around Vulnerability and Threat Management.
Competencies and qualifications
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
- High-level knowledge in at least 3 of the following areas from a Cyber Security perspective.
- Endpoint Security such as EDR and Device Hardening.
- Mobile Security such as MDMs both with Corporate and BYOD
- Infrastructure Security such as Server Hardening and monitoring
- Network Security such as NGFW Firewalls and network intrusion detection systems
- Cloud Security (covering at least 2 of the 3, Azure, GCP and AWS)
- High level experience working with at least 3 of the following tooling areas from a Cyber Security Perspective
- XDR Solutions such as Microsoft Defender and Crowdstrike
- SIEM Solutions such as Sentinel, Google SecOps and Splunk
- Secure Software Development tooling such as Veracode, Snyk and Mend.io
- Vulnerability Management tools such as Tenable VM, Qualys VM and Rapid 7 InsightVM
- Cloud Security tools such as Defender for Cloud, Google Security Command Center and Amazon Inspector
- Proven hands on experience delivering project In Cyber Security such as Identity and Access Management, Security Operations, EDR deployment and configuration.
- Experience with Threat intelligence sources both open source and commercial.
- Worked with third parties on a partnership basis.
