As an executive agency sponsored by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, The Planning Inspectorate takes on crucial responsibilities such as handling planning appeals, examining local plans, and managing national infrastructure planning applications in England. Given the significance of safeguarding their valuable information assets, protecting infrastructure, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data, The Planning Inspectorate recognised the need for a specific range of Information Security services to achieve these goals.
