Role Title: Technical Cyber Security Consultant
Location: Remote
Salary: Up to £90,000  dependent on experience

Career Level:  Senior or Principal dependent on experience

We are looking for a consultant with enviable technical skills and experience helping organisations with complex cyber security challenges.  As a Senior or Principal Consultant (dependent on level of experience), you will be part a key member of the tmc3 team, taking new service propositions to the market as well as developing new business and strong customer relationships while leading and delivering great work.

To do this, we would expect you to have strong technical background in cyber security domains such as network security, cloud security, application security, endpoint security, identity and access management, etc. 

 


 

Responsibilities  

  • Building and managing excellent networks and customer relationships (typically at CIO, CTO, COO, CISO or Head of Technology level) across a range of organisations within the public sector 
  • Taking accountability for the delivery of cyber security engagements and leading multiple engagements on a day to day basis 
  • For Principal level, being a trusted and respected leader. Building and running a highly effective team that delivers customer outcomes and develops the team and individuals 
  • Introducing systems, processes and experience to improve delivery output  
  • Active involvement in managing customer accounts  
  • Supporting business development initiatives and helping to produce compelling consultancy propositions for public sector opportunities 
  • Drawing on your sector network and being responsible for initiating, leading and winning new business. 
  • Producing thought-provoking pieces to raise the profile of tmc3 in the sector.

Competencies and qualifications

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

Essential 

Desirable 

Demonstratable experience in delivering Professional Services, particularly within the UK Public Sector and technical cyber security domain 

ISO27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementor 

Hold one or more of the following Professional Certifications: 

CISSP, CISM, CCSP 

Knowledge of Secure Development practices 

Hold or willingness to achieve Security Clearances 

BPSS, SC and/or DV 

Hold or attain CIISec Membership 

Management and leadership experience and skills 

Microsoft M365 Admin Experience 

Excellent verbal and written skills 

Experience with security architecture principles and methodologies 

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels up to Board level
