TMC3 provides support to Small Charity following Website Attack

Christian Concern for One World (CCOW) - A small charity providing web-based resources found themselves in a difficult situation when their website was attacked, and they were unsure of where to turn for help. However, tmc3 stepped up to provide pro bono expert analysis of their site and valuable support on remediation.

Like businesses, charities are increasingly reliant on IT and technology and are falling victim to a range of malicious cyber activity. Losing access to this technology, having funds stolen or suffering a data breach through a cyber attack can be devastating, both financially and
reputationally.

As a leading cyber security company, tmc3 is committed to helping organisations of all sizes protect themselves from online threats. This pro bono work for CCOW is just one example of our dedication to making the internet a safer place for everyone.

Thanks to our access to advanced tools and cyber security expertise, we were able to identify issues that the small charity would not have been able to spot themselves. Our speed and efficiency in working through potential solutions helped the charity quickly rule out various options, and our suggested remediation strategies ultimately led to a successful solution.

Maranda St John Nicolle, Director, CCOW commented:

"We are profoundly grateful to tmc3 for their generosity in providing us with their expert analysis and advice," said the charity's spokesperson. "Their assistance enabled us to regain control of our website and resume providing resources safely to our users."

At the end of our engagement with the charity, we were pleased to report that their website was secure and fully operational once again. We had also helped them to put measures in place to prevent future cyber attacks and protect the sensitive data of their donors and beneficiaries.

At tmc3, we were honored to have the opportunity to assist the small charity with their recent cyber security challenge. As a company dedicated to making the internet a safer place, we understand the critical importance of maintaining a secure website, especially for organisations that provide essential services to vulnerable communities.

Dan Cornforth, Director, tmc3 added:

We are proud to be a business that uses our skills and expertise for the wider good. We were delighted to provide support with remediation strategies and help the charity to regain control of their website and provide resources to their users safely. Their kind words and recommendation of our services are a testament to our commitment to excellence in cyber security.
